Naomi update

It has been 8 days since Naomi's surgery and she is doing awesome! Her epidural came out and so did almost all of her IVs. Just the cental line remains. She had a barium swallow yesterday to check for leaks in her "new esophogus"....she had none. They said it looked perfect. She has now been given the "ok" to drink clear liquids and juices and eat popcicles. But she won't, she is to scared. We will work on this over the next little bit here. Tomorrow she gets her chest tubes out!! She will then be able to walk around. Everyone is amazed by her rebound from this major surgery. We cannot wait to get her home. Our home is not a home without our girl....it is just to quiet and the sun in just not shining as it once did. I see her every day but her place is here. Hopefully a little less than a week and she will be back. Thank the Lord!

Here are pics I took on Wed:

Looking Good! Mercy says to Tell her to knock her spoon on the plate so Aunti Grace can hear it! She'll know what that means!
